Hello Khobar!

I reached Khobar on a fine morning! The trip was fine. No vomiting experiences. Our baggage was excess, which caused a commotion for almost 15 minutes. By the time we had scanned and got our boarding passes and went to the waiting lounge the gates had opened and we had to rush in! Whewf that was close. My seat number was 16 D which was next to a guy. Not a very comfortable experience. I asked the air hostess if I could change my seat and she said it was alright. Since dad was not travelling with us I did get a seat next to an old lady who was also going to Bahrain. Obviously. The flight journey was without any event. No movies either. Had no idea where they even had the TV monitors. Then we landed in Bahrain airport. We had no idea where to go in that place. I had to literally drag the stupid trolley bad and my laptop case up and down flights of stairs, which gave me a swollen hand.

After all the formalities we came out of the airport escorted by dad and my uncle. The weather was truly good. Pleasant. The way I like it. We had breakfast at Gowri Krishna. As usual dad's fav typical Indian breakfast- dosa and puri's and idl's and what not! I settled for two dosa's. Then we crossed the causeway which had no rush at being a Friday and all. We then came home, saw that all my contacts to the outside world was cut off (the telephone was dead, no net connection hence and there was no balance in my mobile), then relaxed and slept for almost 15 hours. That felt good. Got up for college which was so boring. Same faces same attitude and same complaints. Had a free day, which would have been productive if I had been at home. Came back home and lazed around the whole day. Then sitting now and updating my blog. Now I am tired of this also. Guess I will catch some sleep then. Tata!

2 more days 2 go

Just 2 more days to go and I will be in Al-Khobar! Man I can't wait to travel. This will be the first time we will going from Chennai to Bahrain and then to Khobar without dad. I love travelling like that. I get to play the boss which doesnt tire me easily. I will have to be more responsible and deal with the luggages, passports, tickets, boarding passes not to mention customs checking and visa stamp and approvals. But all this will work only if I curb my enthusiasm for air sickness.

I miss Khobar. The feeling I get when I remember my favourite hang out places is intoxicating. The excitement will die down once I step foot into that place. I sure have tonnes of assignments, seminars and presentations to handle, which will take most of my time. Not to mention a very helping dial- up connection, which will make my work more faster and reliable.

Blogger skins

My blog sucks! I feel uninvited in my own blog just looking at the skins. Its horrible. I want some sane and sensible templates. I search the net and they give me pieces of crap for skins. Really... where do I find one? I hate my blog template. I've changed and tried and tested soo many skins that I do not even want to venture into my blog anyone. For heavens sake... some one please help me!
It feels good again to hit the blog post area. Its been days and even months. Right now in India enjoying the on and off windy weather. Its strong enough to break tree branches. I have been going to Tally classes ever since I came here. The classes have ended but I am revising for as usual a scary exam so that I may gain a certificate. The place is good. A personal tutor. It is nice to get out of home once in a while. Just a week more and then I will be back in Khobar which I kind of miss. I miss the place and constant air conditioning and friends and most of all my very comfy comfy bed and blanky.
